Complete Knix Review | Leakproof Underwear, Loungewear, Bras, and More

I first heard about Knix in 2020 and I’ve been hooked ever since! My first purchase was a few pairs of their leakproof underwear. I then stocked up on a few bras and a waffle knit set. I then applied to be an ambassador at the end of 2023, and their products are still as wonderful as my first purchases in 2020. Knix is inclusive, they have fun patterns and colours, a wide range of products and sizes, and they’re a Canadian woman-owned company! Read on for my full Knix review.

Knix Review Overview

There are so many great things about Knix. Their first product, the leakproof underwear, is reusable and saves thousands of single-use sanitary products from ending up in a landfill. Their campaigns are inclusive: all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. No two bodies are the same, and these campaigns help women feel confident in their bodies. Knix was founded by a woman, and is a Canadian brand. All of these things align with my brand! Since their founding in 2013, they have released numerous products that continue to align with their sustainable practices. They have a range of sizes and cuts of their underwear and bras, so there’s something for everyone!

I also love that they don’t shy away from talking about periods. Growing up, I remember trying to keep my period hush-hush. I would say I had my period under my breath. Or, grab menstrual products discretely out of my bag to take them to the bathroom. Talking about it publicly encourages people to talk about it privately. Women’s health has been largely unrepresented in studies and underrepresented for decades. So, even though we have a long way to go, I love that Knix is working on breaking down those stigmas and barriers around something that half of the population deals with in their lifetime.

They also don’t shy away from other normal issues, like incontinence and regular discharge, that are also not talked about regularly enough. With the range of absorbency, there really is something for every day of your cycle!

Range of Cuts and Styles

I LOVE the range of cuts, styles, and absorbency for the leakproof underwear. Absorbency ranges from none (everyday wear) to ultra leakproof (including extra coverage for heavy days and nighttime). I personally love the french cut because I exclusively wear high waisted pants, and they’re no show/seamless for even more comfort. There are currently 8 styles, all ranging in absorbency: High Rise, Thong, Bikini, Boyshort, French Cut, Shorts & Boxer Briefs, Thigh Savers, and Cheeky.

Pricing

Knix has a variety of leakproof underwear at a variety of price points. They have a few sales a year when you can score some great deals! They have different absorbency underwear for different flows. Ultra leakproof are more expensive, and prices decrease from there. You can also save the more you buy. If you buy 4+, save 15%, and buy 7+, save 25%. You can combine the discount with my 15% off code “passportunities” (of $120+). I understand that they are expensive, but they replace buying single-use menstrual products. I do believe they are more of an investment, and, in my experience, they are worth it!

Sizing

Knix offers virtual chats to talk bra sizing, leakproof guide, and more! If you have a measuring tape, measure your hips and use their size guide to find your right size of underwear. I do find that the underwear is a bit snug for the first few wears. But, after a few wears they relax for a perfect fit! Sizes range from XS to XXXXL in the leakproof underwear line. That’s a range from a size 00 to a size 26! We love the inclusivity!

Knix Bras Review

Range of Cuts and Styles

There’s also a wide range of cuts and styles in their bras. Again, there’s something for everyone! Comfortable t-shirt bras, v-neck bras, maternity bras, sports bras, and more. I have an older style of the V-Neck Bra, and the older style of the Pullover Bra that I purchased in 2022 and they are still in almost perfect condition. I do like that the pullover bra is now adjustable (mine is not).

Pricing

Prices range from $48-$130, depending on the style. I love that they have 99 sizes and that their bras are wireless! Who likes underwire these days? Again, Knix has a few sales a year when you can score some great deals! My discount code for 15% off is “passportunities” (of $120+).

Sizing

To find your sizing, you can book a virtual fitting or use the size guide online! If you take your measurements properly, the Knix sizing is right on! Sizes range from XS (30A) to XXXXL++ (44H) in all their bra styles.

Knix Loungewear Review

Knix also has a loungewear line. I have a few items from their Loungewear line: a blue waffle knit set (no longer available), Merino SculptWool set and Good to Go Fleece set. I purchased the blue waffle knit set before I became an ambassador, and the other two sets recently. I’ve been impressed with the quality of all items so far! The Good to Go Fleece is so beautifully soft and cozy. I brought it with me to a recent weekend getaway, and I love the fit and comfort of the entire set.

Knix Review – Sleepwear

Knix also has a sleepwear line. I was gifted the night shirt as part of a winter campaign, and it’s so warm and perfect for bringing with you to a cottage to cozy up by a fire. The red and black plaid nightshirt is no longer available but it might be brought back as a seasonal item! I can’t speak to the current sleepwear sets, as I have not yet purchased a set.

Knix Thigh Savers and Shapewear Review

I really do not have enough good things to say about this company! If you’re like me, your thighs touch and chafe as you walk with a dress or skirt. Enter: thigh savers. You can absolutely use any type of shorts under your dress to help with chafing, but the thigh savers are thin and comfortable so they’re perfect on hot summer days! There’s also a range in the length of short, and a leakproof option!

For shapewear, I’ve seen a ton of ads that say you can look like you lose inches when you wear their product. I’ve never found this to be the case, and Knix does not use this messaging in promoting their shapewear! It’s really about smoothing lines and making you feel comfortable. I love that you can wear the shapewear bodysuit as a bodysuit, or under clothes! I have a long torso, for my height, and often find bodysuits can be uncomfortable and too short for me! The Knix bodysuits have a bottom closure that gives a little bit extra room, and makes it easy to go to the bathroom. No need to completely strip down in these!

Are Knix Worth the Price?

Personally, I think so! I absolutely feel like the Knix Leakproof are worth the price, and they save hundreds of single-use menstrual products from ending up in a landfill. They are an upfront investment, but their quality and range of sizes and cuts more than makes up for it over the years. As for their other products, I’ve found all their pieces are of good quality. They are a few sales a year where you can get an awesome price on their products, and most of the time you can combine it with my discount code!
